There is NO SUNDAY SCHOOL this Sunday, May 10, due to Mother’s Day. Our last Sunday School for the semester will be next Sunday, May 17, and then we will take off for the summer.
We do look forward to seeing you at our worship service at 10:00.

Lauren Warfel had her baby a couple days ago. Both mom and baby are doing great. Praise the Lord!!! A meal train has been set up to help them in this time getting settled as a family of four. Click here to access the meal train schedule as we support the Warfel’s. Rejoice with us as we celebrate a new member of our church family.
Do you enjoy flowers, a good walk, or even just spending time with other women from our church? The women are going to the Azalea Path in Hazelton, IN on Friday, April 24. If you have never been, it is a beautiful piece of property. They have over 50 acres of property, a few miles of trails, and more than 4,000 azaleas total, as well as other plants and trees.
They will meet at the church at 1:00 to carpool, will spend some time there and then come back home. How long you stay will be decided by each car. Some groups will take it easier, and other groups may check out every inch of the property. It will cost $5 a person.

This is a reminder that we are starting back up Sunday School after being on a break for a couple weeks. This Sunday, April 12, we will begin at 9:00 am and our service will begin at the normal time of 10:00 am. As many of you know, we have Sunday School for all ages and we feel it is an incredibly important ministry of our church.

Do you plan on eating breakfast on Sunday morning? You might as well come have breakfast with us. We will gather for breakfast at 9:00 am this Sunday, April 5, to fellowship. Then our Easter service will begin at 10:00 am. We trust you will come ready to worship the Lord for His resurrection and making true our salvation.

We have several things going on over the next few weeks so I thought it would be helpful to send out post. These will be in our announcements during service as well:
March 22: Sunday School at 9:00 am and service at 10:00 am
March 29: No Sunday School because of Spring Break
Also, a worship team meeting immediately after service.
April 5: Easter Sunday. Instead of Sunday School, we will have an Easter breakfast at 9:00 am.
April 26: Worship night and dinner.
May 10: Mother’s Day. No Sunday School.
May 17: Final Sunday School for our spring semester.
June 8-12: Runner’s Camp
June 13: Sleep

Do you have lunch plans on Sunday? We hope you plan on staying after our church service for lunch. We will have pulled pork and all the fixin’s. We ask for those whose last name starts with A-M to bring a side and N-Z to bring a dessert.
As we’ve said many times before, we have all church events every month because we want to give you opportunities to spend time with your church family. It brings us great joy to see you all developing and growing friendships with others. We are brothers and sisters in Christ so we want to give you time to get to know one another.
See you on Sunday for Sunday School at 9:00 am, service at 10:00 am, and lunch after.
Hello church family,
You all have heard about the event we are doing on Sunday, February 22. As a reminder, you tell us that you are available for dinner at 5:00. We will then assign you to go to someone’s house for dinner. The host won’t know who is coming and you won’t know who else will be there (we hope you will like everyone else there).
It’s as simple as that. You need to eat dinner anyway so might as well do it while building relationships with people from your church family. We hope this interests you.
For those with young children, I can certainly understand the challenges and fears of going to someone’s house to eat. All of the hosts have their insurance companies on speed dial and are ready and waiting for any kind of disaster your child might bring. In all seriousness, the hosts would love for you to come and I am sure will make whatever accommodations they can to make sure it goes as smooth as possible.
We do need to know by this Sunday if you are wanting to participate. You can sign up on the sheet we have at church or you can also click here and tell us that you are coming.

Due to the winter storm warning, we are making some adjustments to our worship service schedule this weekend. We will meet for worship on Saturday, 1/24 at 10 AM, rather than Sunday. Sunday School will be cancelled this week. We will livestream our service through our website as usual for those who are unable to join us. It will also be recorded and posted to our website if you want to join in on Sunday.
Please be cautious in deciding whether to participate via livestream or in person on Saturday. Road conditions may be hazardous even on Saturday morning.

Hello church,
I am sure many of you are aware of the likely snow and ice that will start on Friday night or Saturday morning. We are watching the weather and will send out a post if we decide to cancel service. As always, please use your best judgment and the stream is always an option if you do not feel comfortable driving.
Also, please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you get ready for the storm (I would be happy to make a grocery run) or if you need any help because of damage done by the storm.
Stock up on ice melt and stay tuned.
