We have announced Runners Camp 2022 at Family Bible Church over the past couple months. The camp runs (pun intended) from June 13-17, 5:30-8:00pm. We are less than 7 weeks away from the first night of camp! You can register a camper or sign up to volunteer today. Please, if you plan on volunteering then sign up asap so that you may be placed in a helpful role and that we may have accurate numbers for a t-shirt order.
Maybe you are wondering how you could serve at Runners Camp. Hopefully this helps. Our greatest need by far is for more age-group leaders. They function as camp counselors who spend each evening leading the same group of 5-10 kids through a devotional and then from station to station. Age-group leaders have the privilege of sharing the Gospel with campers. We would love to fill as many of these spots as possible with people from Family Bible Church. College students home for Summer are a great fit for this role.
If you are a high school student, consider signing up to serve as an assistant age-group leader or in the games crew.
If your mobility is limited, then your help is needed on the Registration team.
We also need help with coaches for each of the track and field events. If you know people with such experience, then let them know about this opportunity to volunteer and direct them to the Runners camp website: https://runnerscampevansville.com.
