Jesus once taught to those who cared for others, “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me” (Mt 25:40).
Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the Evansville Rescue Mission has been serving over 1,000 meals a week and needs help from the community to restock certain supplies to continue with the meals. What an opportunity we have to serve Jesus by serving others who are in need!
Here are the supplies requested:
- styrofoam clam shell containers
- small brown/white paper bags
- plastic utensil packs (fork, spoon, knife, salt & pepper, napkin)
If anyone would like to buy supplies, then please bring them to the church building by next Wednesday (4/29). We will organize a pick-up time for the Rescue Mission to receive all the supplies gathered. Call John (812-550-4077) ahead of time to be sure someone is at the church for you to drop off supplies.
It is our joy to care for others, because serving those in need is serving our Savior. Please consider buying supplies and contact us if you have any questions.
