Hello,

This is just a reminder that Sunday School is starting again this Sunday at 9:00 am. We will have it again next Sunday, May 4th, and then will be taking off a few months for the summer.

We hope to see you at 9:00 am for Sunday School and for our service at 10:00 am.

We wanted to remind you about the Easter breakfast tomorrow morning at 9:00 am. Our service will begin at the normal time of 10:00 am. We are excited to worship our risen Savior tomorrow with you. Hope to see you at 9:00 am.

As you all know, we planned on doing the door hangers last Sunday but we got rained out (maybe flooded out is more accurate.) Instead, we are doing it this Sunday. The plan is still the same: we will gather after church, eat pizza, assign everyone neighborhoods, and then we will go out and hang door hangers on door knobs. We should be done about 1:30 or so.

As we have already said, this is a great way to advertise for Runner’s Camp. We always get a bump in registrations after we do the door hangers. We are looking forward to it and hope you make time to join us.

Hey all,

This is just a reminder that we are planning to do the door hangers for Runner’s Camp after church this Sunday. The plan is to meet after church, eat pizza, get assigned a neighborhood, and then canvass the area with door hangers. I would assume we’d be done by 1:30 or so.

There is a decent chance of rain on Sunday afternoon (I know that’s a surprise based on the last couple of days) and there is a possibility we will have to postpone. We will let you know the plans at church on Sunday.

We recently shared the news about Colton and Taylor Potter fostering twin boys. We sent out a link to the meal train (click here if you would like to sign up for that).

We are now sending out a link to their Amazon gift registry. As you can imagine, they need quite a bit of stuff and had very little time to get what they need. You can check out the registry by clicking on this link. If you want to buy an item on this list from somewhere other than Amazon, please let Brent know and we can remove it from this registry.

Hello church family,

Colton and Taylor Potter have decided to foster twin boys and they are 2 months old. We are very excited for the Potter’s and I am sure many of you will want to help.

We may also be sending out another post once Colton and Taylor figure out what they need (diapers, clothes, toys, etc.) so please be watching for another post even later today.

Hello all,

The plans have been set, the schedule has been made, and now we need your help in getting the word out. Runner’s Camp 2025 is quickly approaching and we have several different advertising opportunities that we hope you take part in.

1. We will have postcards and business cards at church on Sunday. Please take some home with you and begin passing them out to family, friends, and neighbors. Also consider leaving some at different businesses.
2. Social media. Be watching the Family Bible Church Facebook page over the next few months. We will be making several posts about Runner’s Camp and we ask you to share those.
3. We will be passing out door hangers on April 6. After church is over on April 6, we will eat pizza, assign neighborhoods to different families, and then ask you to bombard the Northside of Evansville with these door hangers. We always get a surge in registration after this so we know it works. It’s also an easy and family-friendly way to physically train for Runner’s Camp by getting your steps in. This is weather dependent so we will update you as the time gets closer.
4. Pray. This advertising is not done to get as many kids as possible but so that we can share the Gospel with as many kids as possible. The Lord will bring whom He chooses. This has also been a great ministry to parents and volunteers as well. Keep that in mind as we get the word out.

Hello church family,

Below are a few notes about the Sunday School schedule over the next month:

1. This Sunday, March 23, we will not have Sunday School due to spring break starting that week.
2. The following Sunday, March 30, Renato from Gather Network will be speaking during the Sunday School hour about his ministry in Bolivia. Our 4th-8th grade class as well as our high school class will sit in with the adults to learn more about what the Lord is doing in that part of the world. We are really excited about this and hope you attend.
3. We will have a brunch during the Sunday School hour on Easter Sunday, April 20. Instead of Sunday School we will have a time of fellowship before our Easter service.

There has been a change in our plans for Sunday. We ARE having a lunch after church and NOT having a dinner that night. We will feast on some pulled pork together. If your last name begins with A-M, please bring a side item. If your last name begins with N-Z, please bring a dessert. We apologize for the confusion. Hope to see you on Sunday for Sunday School, worship, and then lunch.

Hello church family,

It’s that time of the month again. We have another all church event coming up this Sunday. At 5:00 we will begin by eating dinner together (is anyone surprised by that?). After that we will play several different types of “Minute to Win it” games.

With spring upon us it is probably the last time we can have soup and salad so that is the plan. If your last name begins with A-M, please bring a soup. If your last name begins with N-Z, please bring a salad. The church will provide desserts.

I am excited about being with you all and having fun together. We will see you on Sunday morning for worship and Sunday evening at 5:00 for fun.
