Hello all,
We wanted to give you the schedule for the next month during our Christmas season.
- We will have our annual Christmas party on the evening of December 14 at 5:00. There will be a post sent out soon with specific details and what food to bring.
- We will have our Christmas Eve service on Thursday, December 24 at 5:00.
- We WILL NOT have Sunday School on December 28th nor January 4. Our Sunday School classes will start back up on January 11th.
If you were at church on Sunday, you probably received the Christmas devotional we are reading together. It is our hope that you take 5 minutes to read this with your family. You might have to adjust the wording for younger children but what it says is good for all ages. Below is an excerpt from the reading from December 2. We hope it encourages you to read it if you haven’t been doing so yet.
“Nothing in all of those centuries that had passed was able to stop the promise of God. Jesus, Son of Man, Son of God, the Lamb, the Savior was born at just the right time to provide justification, reconciliation, forgiveness, and new life to all who believe. God’s promises are not limited by human weakness or the passage of time. Don’t give way to fear; God will do what He has promised to do.”
