Dear Family,
As some of you may have heard, yesterday I received a positive result from a COVID 19 test that I took on Wednesday. I feel fine, and never developed any fever or symptoms beyond what I considered a mild cold or allergies, all of which are gone now. Brenda briefly developed a fever, which was the reason we both were tested, but her result was negative. Please pray that neither she, nor Joel will become infected as we quarantine at home.
Obviously I will be absent from church this Sunday. My friend, pastor Cliff Herring has graciously agreed to preach at our service, which will meet in person as scheduled and will also stream on our Facebook Live page. Extra care was taken in disinfecting the building this week, and I have not been in the building for more than five minutes since our service last Sunday. I want you to know these things in advance so that you can decide how your family will participate in worship this week.
As always, thank you for your consideration with wearing masks at FBC except when you are seated with your family in worship.
