Dear Family,
I know we said in a previous post that the deadline for signing up for our FBC Adult Winter Retreat was Feb.23, but we need to let the New Harmony Inn know our count earlier than that. Here again is the basic information about the retreat:
I hope you will consider joining other FBC adults for an overnight retreat at New Harmony Inn, Friday evening through Saturday lunch Feb. 27-28.
We have 15 rooms reserved at the inn (nice, with either a fireplace or a balcony) plus a conference room for our activities together. The inn will provide continental breakfast and cater our lunch on Saturday. We will pay through FBC so as to save on taxes. Cost per room is $100. Cost for lunch is $10 per person. Payment can be made to FBC, please mark “FBC Retreat” on check memo line.
Activities will begin at 7:30 PM Friday night in the conference room at the Inn. We will enjoy snacks, games and fun with friends Friday night. Saturday we will have a morning devotional and prayer time, have some fun together and there will be an open forum time to discuss ideas for using our new church facility. We will wrap things up after lunch on Saturday. If you cannot make it to New Harmony until later Friday evening, that is fine, come when you can. If you cannot join us until Saturday morning, we plan to begin our activities together at 9 AM. If your spouse cannot make it and you wish to come by yourself, please do so!
We passed around a signup sheet last Sunday but it did not make it all the way around the room so we would like all families to respond and let us know your intentions using the “Contact Us” form on our website here. It will ask for your name and email address, please provide us with one of the following in the “Prayer request or other message” box by Friday morning.
I/we can come for the duration of the retreat.
I/we can come Friday night only.
I/we can come Saturday only.
I/we cannot come at all.
I/we am still checking and will get back with Colin by Friday noon.
Make sure you hit the “submit” button at the bottom. Thanks for helping us make arrangements,
Pastor Colin
